I am not able to see the files present on the server using Filezilla ftp client. I am using SFTP connection. I am able to connect to the server. I can see only the directories but not the files. I have also enabled the Server>Force showing hidden files Option. When I connect the server using winScp I can see the files. Thank you in advance. Any help is appreciated. [Note: All the files are php files only. Not sure if its related with .php extension]

Open the FileZilla FTP tool. Navigate through View > Filename filters >Directory listing filters and uncheck all the checked options in remote filters and click on apply button.

WinSCP and hidden files. Hi everyone, I have developed a site using VB.Net and Visual Studio 2010, that allows users to upload and download multiple files to an FTP server. I have recently been given a request to change this so that SFTP is used instead of FTP. I have downloaded WinSCP but am now stumped as to what I need to do next. That should absolutely match hidden files. The / at the end of the source says 'every file under this directory'. Nevertheless, testing and research bear you out. This is stupid behavior. The 'answer' is to append a dot to the end of the source: scp -rp src/. User@server:dest/ The real answer is to use rsync.
